Community Based Outpatient Counseling for Children
Children ages 0-17, living in Delaware, whose behavioral problems are severe enough to threaten their home, school, or day care placement can receive help through Catholic Charities Community-based Outpatient Counseling for Children Program. Intensive outpatient treatment is designed for the child who needs concentrated therapy, but can live at home and attend school or work during the day. It is generally viewed as an alternative to hospitalization, when appropriate.
Referrals for the services primarily come through the State of Delaware’s Department of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services, however if you want to make a self-referral you can find out more information on how to do that by calling our main office in Wilmington. Acceptance of self-referrals are dependent upon insurance eligibility.
