Ways to Give

Donate

“Most donations are invisible – except to the people they affect.”  – Anonymous

At Catholic Charities, your donation is certainly not invisible. We witness each day the results that your kindness and generosity make possible for those in need. Your financial gift is visible in the lives of the over 100,000 individuals each year who come to us for help. In partnership with you, Catholic Charities can address human suffering by providing caring service to those in need. It’s our mission, and your gift helps everyday.

Gifts in Celebration & Remembrance

Remember those who have passed away by generously lending a hand to those in need.

Making a gift to Catholic Charities to celebrate important events like birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations or weddings, commemorates the occasion and creates a positive impact for the most vulnerable within our community.

Workplace Giving Campaigns

Catholic Charities participates in many Workplace Giving campaigns, including the United Way of Delaware and United Way of the Eastern Shore campaigns, the Combined Federal Campaign, the State Employee Campaign, and the Maryland Charity Campaign.

You can also choose to give to Catholic Charities by participating in Amazon Smile, GoodSearch, and GoodShop. Just choose Catholic Charities Wilmington as your agency when you register.

Annual Tribute Dinner

Each year, Catholic Charities honors outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a deep commitment to addressing the well-being of our communities’ most vulnerable – our mission. We bestow upon these remarkable persons the Msgr. Thomas J. Reese Award, created in 1989 in memory of Msgr. Reese, a community activist and longtime director of Catholic Social Services, the forerunner of Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities is now accepting donations of cars and other motor vehicles to support its programs benefiting the most vulnerable in our communities. In addition to automobiles, we accept donated trucks, boats, RVs and motorcycles. Donors can make the gift at no cost to them. Catholic Charities will accept all vehicle donations regardless of condition or registration status, arrange for vehicle pickup, if necessary, and provide the donor with an IRS tax receipt for their records.
